About the Role: Do you enjoy socialising and have experience working with people with memory loss? Bene is looking for volunteers to support our lifestyle teams to undertake a diverse range of activities to enhance our memory support social programs. You will be working alongside staff supporting people with dementia, building on their passions, strengths and interests. Main duties includes participating in person-centred activities on a one-to-one basis. If you have knowledge and skills in working with people living with dementia and enjoy engaging with a diverse range of people, we would love to hear from you! About You: You will be a committed and caring individual that displays empathy for the older members of our community. You will equally match our culture and values and will be willing to contribute your time, talents, skills and knowledge to assist us in creating unique experiences for our consumers. This volunteer role requires you to have:
- The ability to work positively within a team to achieve shared goals
- Strong customer service skills
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Unrestricted Drivers Licence
