About the Role: A Volunteer Kitchen Assistant is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day duties in the kitchen. This position requires a reliable and passionate person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Duties include assisting with food preparation as directed by kitchen staff including washing, peeling, chopping and cutting of food, and helping to prepare salads and desserts. After meal preparation, cleaning kitchen areas and making sure equipment is stored appropriately is paramount. - General knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
