About the Role: Bene Aged Care is seeking an appropriately skilled and qualified person to fulfil a newly created Complex Health Care Nurse for our Residential Aged Care facilities. The role will be working on a casual basis for approx. 25hrs per week, the hours for the role can be negotiated with the successful applicant to achieve the best outcomes for our residents while maintaining a work/life balance.

The role will be based at our St Agnes facility but will be required to attend our Campbelltown and St Clair facility each week.

Reporting to the DORAC you will be responsible for complex pain management undertaken as the Registered Nurse. Treatments provided will involve therapeutic massage including use of technical equipment for that purpose but not limited to;

  • Non-pharmacological pain management
  • Massage therapy
  • Heat packs
  • Tens machine
  • Wax therapy

About You: You will be a bright, outgoing, committed, skilled and caring individual that displays empathy for the older members of our community. You will equally match our culture and values in the support and care for the frail and elderly. Applications are invited from professionals with:

  • Relevant Nursing Qualifications (including Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)
  • AHPRA Registration
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role with an understanding of Residential Aged Care
  • The ability to work positively within a team to achieve goals
  • Demonstrated proficiency using an electronic clinical mgmt. database
  • Strong customer service delivery skills
  • National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain) and Unrestricted Drivers Licence
