About the Role: A Volunteer Driver is responsible for providing a reliable, efficient transport service to our consumers within the community and residential sectors. You will be provided with a travel schedule and may pick up and drop off consumers to Bene’s Lifestyle and Wellness centres. A transport driver may also transport residential and community consumers on daily outings. This position requires a reliable and attentive person that has knowledge of SA metropolitan roads. You will ensure consumers receive a safe, courteous and respectful on-board experience and will always be mindful of the consumer’s health, wellbeing and cultural background. About You: You will be a committed and caring individual that displays empathy for the older members of our community. You will equally match our culture and values and will be reliable, have a good work ethic and suit working in a team environment. You will enjoy driving, be willing to assist consumers in and out of vehicles and have good communication skills. This volunteer position requires you to have:
- The ability to work positively within a team to achieve shared goals
- Strong customer service skills
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Unrestricted Drivers Licence
